And now, for the fine print:
TERMS OF DEPOSIT:
A NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $300 will hold this pet until the age of 8 weeks, at which time the balance and shipping (if applicable) is due. If the buyer does not complete the purchase, this deposit is not refunded and the puppy again becomes available for adoption.
Deposits can be made by these avenues:
1-Good old fashioned United States Post Office: we do accept personal checks, or money orders through this way HOWEVER, the following stipulations are enforced:
a)– checks are accepted for DEPOSITS ONLY and will not be accepted for final payment.

TERMS OF PURCHASE:
In the unlikely event that the puppy becomes ill or passes away before leaving my care, the deposit and any other monies will be of the buyers choice either (1) Fully refunded by the breeder, or (2) transferred to another available puppy of the buyers choice.
All transportation arrangements will be made by the breeder to mutually fit breeder and buyers schedule, but ultimately be in the BEST INTEREST OF THE PUPPY. Puppies are not permitted to leave my home until they are 8 weeks old.
Unless otherwise noted, the registration application for the puppy will be from either AKC (LIMITED, unless the puppy is being sold by prior arrangement as a show/breed prospect with FULL registration) CKC, or APR.
Once you have taken possession of the puppy, the below agreements are in effect:
RESPONSIBLE BUYERS AGREEMENT:
1- I agree to spay/neuter this puppy at the age deemed appropriate by my chosen veterinarian. I understand that it is being sold as a pet only, and I will not allow it to breed or be bred unless prior agreements are in effect. 2- If for any reason in the future I cannot keep my pet, I agree that I will contact the breeder for help or approval in rehoming it. If a suitable new home cannot be found by myself or the breeder, I will return it to the breeder at my expense with no purchase refunds. I WILL NEVER SURRENDER THIS PET TO RESCUE, THE POUND OR ANY ANIMAL SHELTER. 3- I will feed this pet only a quality pet food. 4- I will keep it up to date on vaccinations and wormings on a scheduled approved by the breeder/and or my veterinarian.
5- I will immediately contact the breeder to discuss any health issues should they arise.
BREEDERS HEALTH GUARANTEE
To the best of my knowledge, this puppy is free of any diseases or genetic defects. This guarantee is valid only if checked by a veterinarian of your choice within 72 hours of receiving the puppy (weekends and holidays excluded) at the buyer’s expense. For your assurance, I offer a limited 1 (ONE) year guarantee against any life threatening genetic defects. This means, if your veterinarian diagnoses your puppy with any genetic defect that would threaten the life of your puppy, contact me immediately. I will need you to send your veterinarian’s report along with description. I also reserve the right to send your puppy to a veterinarian of my choice (near you) for a second opinion. The second opinion will be of no cost to you if there is a confirmed defect. In the event the puppy passes away unexpectedly, and your veterinarian cannot pinpoint cause of death, a necropsy may be needed to determine cause of death. (this will be entirely up to you as it will be an incurred cost for you but IS needed for a refund). Please remember that health is my top priority and if there are ANY health problems with one of my puppies, I need to know to ensure no future breedings with health issues. *Please note: if a condition can be treated, it is not considered life threatening. If an inherited LIFE THREATENING defect is found with in ONE year, I will offer two options:
- Keep your puppy and I will reimburse the PURCHASE price of the puppy. (I would need you to return the registration papers and veterinarian report before any refund can be given.) This option is not offered by most breeders. I offer this because I know how strong a bond a person can develop with their pet in only a matter of days. (Please note, shipping charges and/or veterinarian expenses are NOT refundable.) 2. Return your puppy along with registration papers and veterinarian report. I will then replace your puppy with the next available puppy, as soon as it becomes available. (if shipping charges apply to your situation, you are responsible for all related costs due to shipping including crate, health certificate fees, etc.) 3. I DO NOT warrant against parvo or other contagious diseases because I cannot control what the puppy is exposed to once it leaves my care. Your puppy SHOULD NOT leave your house or yard until the FULL SERIES of puppy shots have been completed to insure the best possible immunity against communicable diseases. 4. This guarantee is valid only for the buyer signed below. 5. This guarantee covers only inheritable life-threatening defects for one year. We breed and sell only top-quality puppies, but once a puppy leaves my care, I have no control over changes in diet, care, environment, vaccination, medication or abuse. Therefore, I cannot be responsible if the puppy develops a cold, diarrhea, watery eyes, etc. It is up to the new owner to love and care for this puppy as I have.
I UNDERSTAND THE TERMS OF THIS PET PURCHASE AS OUTLINED ABOVE IN THIS CONTRACT. THE AGREED PLACE OF VENUE FOR THIS CONTRACT IS POLK COUNTY ARKANSAS, AND I AGREE TO THESE TERMS BY SIGNING BELOW, OR BY EMAILING BACK “YES” WITH YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS.
